Metrotect is the world leader in the manufacturing and supply of coal-tar enamels, primers and associated glass-fibre based wraps for the 'Hot Coat and Wrap' system of pipeline protection. Many pipelines coated with coal-tar and installed over 70 years ago are still in operation today.

From this firm foundation the Group has augmented its product range to include high performance liquid polyurethane coating systems. Formulated with the knowledge gained through forty years of experience within the pipeline industry, these materials offer outstanding properties in terms of impact, abrasion and corrosion resistance. Additionally certain materials exhibit tolerance to application onto damp or marginally prepared substrates, and in difficult environments such as where high humidity is encountered.
